Fire weather watch

Threat of dry lightning today and tomorrow has me in fire prep mode. I’ve got my pulaski tool and rakes and other shovels in my car, my fire fighting gear and go bag in my car. I’ve got my fire-rated clothing ready to put on, along with my boots and gear. Monitoring lightning activity online. 

Currently staring at a dark gray cloud mass that seems to be building and forming up behind me to the south. 

Ominous is the word that comes to mind. Standing by up here at 3600’.
