Trichocereus Graft Stack

This is a genuinely wild piece of cactus engineering — a stacked Trichocereus featuring a dark, ribbed base column with star-cut graft wounds at two distinct union points, topped by a bright, vivid green scion that is already pushing strong new growth from its crown. The contrast between the older, weathered lower sections and the explosively fresh top growth tells the whole story of what grafting can do: bypass years of slow ground-level growth and send energy rocketing upward. It stands roughly 10 inches tall in a black nursery pot dressed with Tunk Valley river rock, and the multiple healed graft unions give it a sculptural, almost architectural look that no ungrafted cactus could replicate.
