Trichocereus Peruvianus Monstrose
Echinopsis peruviana f. monstrose
$65
This is a genuinely spectacular monstrose Peruvian Torch — a twisted, brain-like column of rippling green flesh that looks less like a cactus and more like something dreamed up by a sculptor on a very good day. The growth is dense and chaotic in the best way, with overlapping tubercles and folds cascading down a stout, dark green trunk. Tiny spines emerge from scattered areoles across the surface, giving it just enough edge to remind you it's still very much a cactus. The plant tag in the photos reads 'TPM' — Trichocereus Peruvianus Monstrose — a collector's notation that confirms exactly what you're looking at: a rare, slow-growing mutation of one of the most beloved columnar cacti in the world.
